Deaf Development Programme

DDP visits ISPP

Yesterday, a team from the Deaf Development Programme attended the International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP) ‘s NGO Fair.  We had a booth with photos and information about our projects, our Program Manager spoke about our work during a number of small group sessions, and two of our Cambodian Sign Language teachers taught some basics signs to around 150 students.  Multiple ISPP teachers and event organizers noted that, for the students, the sign language class was the best part of the day.  The teachers were amazed at how well Sokchea and Samath were able to keep the students engaged for 20+ minutes without speaking a single word.  Great job, you two!
