Deaf Women’s Football Team
When the deaf men started their football team in July, many of the deaf women began clamoring for their own team. Today that became a reality as the deaf women played a full game against what everyone is calling the Mission Team, a group of young women from NGOs and mission groups in Phnom Penh. This was the first game for the women’s team and the first time to play football for some of the team members. but they did a good job, losing just 4-3.
