Education Research
You may remember reading about the P-CEN Teacher Training DDP participated in back in August. Yesterday, as a part of this same project, three researchers were here from the Philippines to conduct interviews with our Basic Education and Cambodian Sign Language staff. DDP staff each answered dozens of questions about their work, strengths they see in the programs and challenges.
While for some the thought of using just one interpreter seems a cumbersome process, for Sreytouch, CSL teacher, the whole interview went from English, to Khmer, to CSL and then she could finally answer the question. Thankfully, she is a patient person!
