Leadership Event with FAD
Last Saturday we said farewell to Jaana, Marko and their lovely interpreters from the Finnish Association of the Deaf (FAD), after an informative and fun-filled week. In the morning we toured the town and took in the main sights of Phnom Penh, along with a trip to the markets for a little shopping.

After a quick break, we headed to the International Christian Fellowship Centre for a meeting with the Deaf community and leadership training event. FAD provided a presentation for the Deaf community, along with their families, so we could learn about the history, connections and unity of the Finnish deaf community.

The community is growing!
It was a real honor to have them and to hear their encouragement and support for the Cambodian Deaf community to use their strength and determination to create their own associations and networks into the future.

Until next time, FAD
