Pchum Ben
Earlier this week was the conclusion of the Pchum Ben celebrations here in Cambodia. This 15-day ceremony is a time to honor deceased ancestors, make offerings at the Wat, and spend time with family and close friends. Traditionally, in this time, one is supposed to visit seven Wats to make offerings to the monks. A small group of Deaf community members from the Deaf Community Center in Phnom Penh took a trip to the local Wat to make offerings. Below are photos from their excursion. Happy Pchum Ben to all!
